VENUE OVERVIEW: Nested in the heart of Downtown San Jose between San Jose State University and City Hall, 4th St. Pizza Co. has mastered the art of versatility. With over 40 HD televisions and a large bar area, 4th St. Pizza Co. is an ideal venue for college students to watch local favorites like the San Jose Sharks while their spacious restaurant makes them the perfect venue for a pizza celebration after the Little League game.

THEIR NEEDS: 4th Street’s success spurred growth, and an expansion to nearly double the size of the venue was underway. Including the addition of digital signage above the ordering counter, CAVS was contracted to install 18 new TVs, new sound and new surveillance for the space. In addition, the owners requested the ability to stream HD music videos to all existing TVs without the addition of new cabling.

WHAT WE DID: CAVS delivered with a complex HD video modulation system that was injected into the satellite infrastructure of the existing TVs and recovered behind each – delivering both DirecTV satellite signal and HD music videos to each TV over only 1 coax cable! This “outside the box” solution saved the business owners an estimated $8,000.00 and was deployed in a single afternoon while the business remained open.
