VENUE OVERVIEW: Audio Discotech, a 3500 square-foot, 400-person capacity nightclub in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco, knows the importance of sound. While it is by no means the largest dance venue in the city, Audio is able to book some of the world’s top electronic music DJs who have heard about the venue’s commitment to exceptional sound.
WHAT WE DID: Such a cutting-edge system came to Audio Discotech courtesy of Funktion One, a superlative, high-resolution, and highly sought after sound system few Bay Area venues have access to. CAVS was proud to install this system as part of a joint venture with Sound Investment AV – the Nation’s exclusive distributor of Funktion One. In addition to installing the sound system, CAVS designed and provided Audio’s data & telecom infrastructure, network, and surveillance system. Working closely with Immersive Pro, CAVS also installed thousands of color-changing, music-responsive LED lights and a mapped projection system.
In recognition of their commitment to excellence, Audio Discotech won the “Best Venue Sound” category at the 2014 Nitey Awards.
