VENUE OVERVIEW: Nob Hill’s new craft cocktail bar, Harper & Rye loves it’s customers as much as it’s customers love it. While abundant reclaimed wood and metal decor give the venue a hip industrial vibe, the focus here is on the specialty cocktails, highballs and punch jars.
WHAT WE DID: Harper & Rye’s owners wanted a high end, modern AV system concealed enough not to distract patrons from their carefully crafted drinks. For maximum camouflage, CAVS tucked speakers in-between the decorative beams that line the ceiling at such an angle that they are visible from few angles. The once unusable space above the entry door was repurposed as an occasional DJ booth with direct connection point into the sound system. The mostly concealed elements of the audio system can be called on when necessary but with very little visible presence, focus remains where it should be – on the cocktails.
CAVS also provided surveillance and data infrastructure for Harper & Rye.
