VENUE OVERVIEW: One step into Bergerac, SoMa’s chic bar and restaurant, is a transformation into the ornate interior of the French mansion Villa Nellcote. It was here the Rolling Stones recorded their classic album, “Exile on Main Street” and just like The Stones, Bergerac likes to throw memorable parties complete with good food, exquisite cocktails, and modish music.
WHAT WE DID: CAVS was called in to install impressive sound to match Bergerac’s sister venue located directly above – Audio Discotech. This meant yet another Funktion One system sourced from Sound Investment AV, the exclusive U.S. distributor of the industry defining speakers. For video capability, CAVS wall-mounted a unique TV with a mirror overlay, which in the off position completely conceals the razor sharp HD display hiding beneath. Along with the audio visual components, CAVS set up the data/telecom infrastructure and surveillance system for Bergerac, providing modern technology to artfully complement it’s classic look.
